It's interesting that many of us are drawn to the sea. Out there, everything is simple.

So true. I worked with a fellow a few years ago whose late father was a politician. He use to say that the only place he could find peace was on his boat (pre cell phone days). Nobody could reach him and he could really just enjoy the day.
I'm in the military and feel the same way. It's nice to truly get away from everything.
I have always loved that JFK quote.
